     The Division of Sanitation (Municipal Refuse) picks up and disposes of discarded trash in commercial and residential areas.
Combined with the Street Department, there are 42 employees headed by Superintendent Joe DeSantis. Mr. DeSantis has experience with heavy equipment and highway trucks as well as having extensive knowledge of city operations.
